The Darby Perry, DP5/6, is a double-ended periodontal instrument. It is used to remove residual calculus after ultrasonic scaling for deep pockets. The chisel sharp blades of the curette help remove the hard material without damaging the gum tissues. Moreover, these are black-coated to reduce surgeons’ eye strain.
