The Sickle Scaler Ball, B2/3, is a dental instrument used for removing calculus (tartar) from the surfaces of teeth, particularly above and below the gum line. It's designed for root planning and scaling procedures. It’s double-ended, each end with a different blade design, offering versatility for different scaling tasks.

On one end, the ball-shaped blade is ideal for removing calculus in deep pockets and furcations (areas where the roots of teeth diverge). The other end has a sickle-shaped blade, effective for removing calculus from flat surfaces and shallow pockets.
