Adjustable Impression Trays are used to facilitate custom dental prostheses manufacturing, e.g., dentures. The dental impression is a negative imprint of hard and soft tissues in the mouth from which the positive reproduction can be formed. The adjustable impression tray includes the 1st and 2nd arcuate members movably attached at the arcuate member's proximal end. It features a handle to facilitate the removal of the tray from the patient’s mouth.
The impression tray also features an adjustable mechanism that allows the dentists to direct the first arcuate member similar to the second arcuate member in order to form a u-shaped channel that approximates that person's dentition. This dental impression is further configured and a locking mechanism to retain and receive the impression material into the tray. The perforated impression trays accommodate dental needs.
